Rejection

Got rejected by Deb Werksman on Runaway.  Here is what she said,

“Enjoyed reading what you sent and especially liked the international scope of the story but it is too short at 70,000 words to sufficiently develop the single title romance novel we produce.”

 
So, even though she rejected it, I am encouraged that she enjoyed it. All I have to do is add more words.  Where I’m gonna find more words, I don’t know, but I will mull it over and do something. AND then send it out again.

    I thought you’d added lots of words to Runaway. ??? Still not enough, tho. Phooie! I LOVE Runaway! Kudos that she liked your story! That’s great news! I hope you’ll send it out again until Runaway finds a home.

    I added 15,000 in 4 days to get it to 70,000- They like longer , it seems. I am gonna continue to press on.
