Leaving on a Jet Plane

I’m leaving today to go to the national conference of Romance Writers in New York City. I’ll be staying at this Marriott- the Marriott Marquis. I love New York. It’s such an alive city. I know I probably won’t get out of the hotel much since I’ll be in conference mode, but I’ll be in one of my favorite places on Earth and I’ll pop over and have a piece of Junior’s cheesecake. I also plan to catch a Broadway show on Saturday after the conference. I have my tickets already. Second row, aisle seat. I’m seeing Daniel Radcliffe and John Larroquette in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.  My friend that’s going with me has never seen a Broadway show before so that will make it even more special.

I’m also super excited to meet some people I call friends that I’ve never seen in person- and Laurie, that means you! It’s going to be a blast. I have some cute promos I’ll have out in the goodie room that my staff helped me work on. Let’s just hope they do some work while I’m gone.  LOL!

You don’t have more than a few hours of flight do you? I thought about Laurie when I turned in for the night. And, again when I woke up this morning. You two are making me wish I was with you.
