I’ve been waiting to activate a website under this pen name until I needed it. Turns out, that day has come. I got an email this morning from the acquisitions editor at Siren Book Strand that they want to publish my book entitled Solo Honeymoon. As you can guess, I’m over the moon about that. This is different than the anthologies I’ve been in because my name will be on it ALONE! Well, not the name I was born with but one I chose for myself. Still pretty amazing.
The release date will be January 2011. I’m pretty psyched about it- I just hope they don’t change their minds. 
And just for fun, I’ve re-posted the pics of the model I chose for inspiration for Dario, the hero of this story.

I can’t remember if I already sent my congrats.
So, if not, here goes:
This is terrific news!
I can certainly understand the appeal of having your own name (and no other) on the cover.
I co-authored two monographs, one chapter, and one encyclopedia article with my brother. Even though we alternated which name went first, it still was a sharing thing.
I don’t share well. ha.
