Storms and Guest This Week

Yesterday it was in the mid-high 70s here. I wore flip flops as all I had on the agenda for work was a phone conference with a judge and office work to do. The weather was breezy and nice. By the end of the day, it was overcast and cloudy. It was still in the 70s, though. A huge storm blew through about 10 pm. It came through Mississippi and Alabama first and the Mobile television channel was showing all the lightning strikes on the radar and it was crazy insane! Yep, that’s redundant but man, it’s appropriate!  LOL!  My bedroom was lit up half the night with lightning. The winds were almost as bad as a hurricane- Not as intense, I think, but as loud and scary sounding.  This morning when I got up, it was 43 degrees with a wind chill of 39. As I write this, it’s still only 48 w/wind chill of 43.  I have on a sweater and boots.  So, from short sleeves and flip flops yesterday to sweater and boots today.  Life on the Gulf Coast is never dull.

I have a special guest on Thursday this week, Lindsay Below. She has a new release on Friday and will be here to chat about that.  Check out her website in the meantime.  I think you’ll like her.  http://www.lbelow.net/index.htm
