We had a very wet Labor Day Weekend. It started raining on Friday and didn’t stop for days. On late Saturday, #2 son asked me if it was going to rain forever. I told him just til the holiday weekend was over. LOL! It has been in the high 90s here and unbearable. Until the rain. As I write this, it’s 6:35 pm. on Monday and it’s 72 degrees. It’s supposed to be in the 60s by midnight. On Tues night, it’s supposed to be 57 degrees.
I have big plans. I’m going to go lay in my yard, wet or not, and soak up all that cool air. I’m gonna wallow in it. Just use Google Earth to find me. I’m north of Pensacola. I’ll be the one with her arms and legs spread as if I was making snow angels.

You crack me up. Snow angels in the sand, eh? 🙂 And if #2 son thinks he’s seen a lot of rain, send him to the Pacific Northwest. You know, where Forks is? The home of the Twilight bunch? Rain capitol of the lower 48? lol a bunch.

We Do Have grass, Laurie. Lol. Snow angels are fun. Beach or slopes. Yeah, I’ve heard about your kind of rain. Always thought it was an urban myth. Lol.

Nope no urban myth. But, now that it’s fall we’re in the 80’s. This weather is . . . I’m not sure of a word to use. Right now, this minute, because in the Pacific NW all it needs is a minute to change I use the word “GREAT!”

We had a lot of rain, also. Every time we came upstairs the tornado alarm would go off again and we’d have to head right back to the basement. It became a little comical after awhile. I’m glad you made it through the storm okay. 🙂
