I went to see the movie, This Means War this weekend. It was okay, not spectacular, mind you. Just okay. There really wasn’t much of a story line over and above the competition over who was going to win the girl. There was a feeble little side plot about some brothers but it was really lame. There was a lot of nonsense going on and a ton of unauthorized use of CIA equipment and manpower. Those two guys needed to be fired. The heroine also had a best friend who was totally unlikeable.
In short, the best part of it was cute Reese Witherspoon and handsome, super sexy Tom Hardy. Man, I like that guy!! So, the two hours of watching him was worth my $6.50 for the matinee.
Proud momma moment- some of you may have seen this on Facebook, but if not, here’s an article about #1 son’s accomplishment. http://www.shef.ac.uk/architecture/ssoa_news
AND I’m guest blogging today here: http://ldee2010.wordpress.com/ and talking about Sebastian’s Salvation.
Congrats to your son. You have every right to be proud!

Okay, I saw the movie with my husband down in Ft. Lauderdale and we were howling, my husband especially, and he rarely laughs in the movies. Most of the Saturday night audience was laughing too. I liked it. The way the action shots were done was really well done, you didn’t know which of the heroes was doing what. I thought it worked.

Some of the action WAS quite good. I think I was just so focused on the waste of government resources, I couldn’t think straight. LOL! Must be the federalist in me. LOL!
