I’m heading out to the Romantic Times Convention this week on Wednesday after I get out of court. Yes, the day job must take precedence because first and foremost, I am a lawyer. I see my job as a calling, not merely a way to make a living. I love to write but I also love to litigate.
I’m really looking forward to RT so I can meet, in person, some of the folks I’ve been working with for a while with Desert Breeze Publishing. We are having a group breakfast on Thursday and that should be super awesome. We are also playing bingo with the readers. If you’re at RT, walk around and look for those of us with Proud to be a DBP Writer buttons. We will give you a bingo card and sign that puppy for you. Fill up the card with signatures and turn it in at promo alley. The prize for the winner is a Kindle Fire. How’s that for a great prize?

Thanks Rita. I love Chicago. The spouse lived there for a while when we were dating/engaged. Thanks re: not being lonely- I hope I won’t be. I sometimes give my heart too freely and it gets smashed. You know?

Of all the conferences this the one I’d most like to go to. I’ve never wanted to go to the RWA and for the most part got pretty burned out when I worked and later involved with the Horse registry. Have fun,, I know you will.
