Today is release day of my first Regency era story. I wrote it when I saw a call for Christmas stories set in that era and under 20,000 words. My thoughts? 20,000 is totally doable and so I was off on this challenge to write an age I hadn’t tried before. I hope people like it. I had so much fun with this sassy heroine and sexy hero. The cover absolutely captures the essence of these characters. I adore it.
Blurb:
Blush Sensuality Level: This is a sweet romance (kisses only, no sexual content).
Charlotte Greystone can’t seem to stay out of trouble. When her father betroths her to a man she hasn’t seen in almost ten years, she runs away. Never mind that it’s days before Christmas and she has no survival skills.
When she’s almost crushed by hunters on horseback, a handsome man on a black stallion comes to her rescue. Not thinking of the scandal of being alone with a strange man, she allows him to assist her in returning to her home.
The next day, Charlotte is appalled when the butler announces her betrothed—the same man she shared a horse with the day before. Terrified he will tell her father of her behavior or cause an even bigger scandal by breaking off the engagement, Charlotte is knocked off-kilter—and stays that way as she spends the hours until Christmas trying to understand the man.
A Blush® Regency romance from Ellora’s Cave
I love the cover and blurb. Have you thought about entering it in the Snowglobe contest? This is a really good contest for both authors and readers.

Sure — the link is at http://snowglobeawardcontest.vpweb.ca/ I judged last year as my Christmas story came out to late to enter. I was impressed with the quality of the stories. It gets quite a bit of exposer and has prizes for both the author and the voters.
