I wish I was- been dad-sitting (sharing with my sister) for over a month since he broke his foot in three places and had to have surgery and is non-weight bearing still. My son was over there for a big shindig with the hotel company he works for that is based in France- He sent me some pics and I wish I could’ve gone with him. I thought about it before my dad got hurt at the end of August. Alas

Oh, you’re poor father! Auntie went through that a couple years ago with
her ankle. Had to be non-weight bearing for 6 weeks. Ugh.

yeah. It’s no fun for anyone. Glad your auntie got better. Yesterday was 6 weeks for Dad but he doesn’t go back to Orthopedist until Monday. UGH

I am sorry that you did not get there; (shoot, I’m sorry that I never got there!)

I would love to experience all of the buildings that I have seen in so many photos and movies. My cousin said that the Eifel Tower has to be seen to be believed, that it looks as if it is made of lace.
    Maybe you will get there.
I know that I will not.

I hope all is well in the family now.

I have been to Paris. It is one of my favorite places in the world. I love it there. It’s so cool to see the number of carousels they have, too. It is insane how many are scattered about. LOL — The Eiffel tower is awesome- I’ve been there but the wind was so high, we couldn’t go all the way to the top- just halfway but the view from there was spectacular.
