I LOVE sunflowers. Real or not-real they are gorgeous. 🙂 My mother
loved them. That might be why I’m drawn to them?

I love them too. This is from an arrangement my paralegal got from a family member for her birthday yesterday. I am drawn to them too. I’m glad they give you happy memories of your mom! The lady we rented a house from in Virginia when I was growing up had a whole field of them and we used to play around in that field hiding, etc. I think that’s why I love them.

    “Sunflower! Good morning”…
Suddenly, Glenn Campbell came from nowhere!
    Thanks for the day brightener!

No idea why it made you think of Glen Campbell, but that made me smile

His song “Sunflower”,and I debated over that second ‘n’. I should have remembered.I was a fan and always watched his show. I was raised on Frank Sinatra, but when I heard Glen do “All My Tomorrows”, I will now only listen to his version.

I only know two Glen Campbell songs. LOL Wichita Linesman and Rhinestone cowboy. LOL

Oh, my goodness! Glen was the best of the ‘crossover-country’ singers of the 1970s, (me being a classic rock kid). If you ever have some time, you might give a listen. In fact, that is an idea I might jump on myself. It’s been a long time since I heard any of his songs, which is why I was so surprised that “Sunflower” jumped into my head! LOL!

I was around in the 70s and still didn’t have much in my head that was Glen Campbell. LOL
