What kind of tree is that? There are trails of branches everywhere!

I think it is elm. We have had some vine activity this year all over the place. It’s always had the parts on the bark itself of the main tree, but those tendrils are new. I thought they looked pretty cool but after I took the picture, I cut a lot of them down. I was afraid they were killing the tree-

We are having terrible times with vines on trees , several types, (but no Kuzu yet, thank heaven). I don’t recognize your vines, but I worry about my trees, too.

us too. And in the flower beds. Smothering the grass and the plants. And I am NOT a yard work person. Having to try to stay on that now– my husband loved doing that stuff. Me, not! You and I are the Lorax when it comes to trees.

LOL! I just have not been up to yardwork at all, and between the incredible rains and heat , it’s a jungle out there!

For sure. As soon as I get some trimmed, it rains again… UGH- I just hope my neighbors don’t call the county on me about my back yard.

That’s my worry; thedid it once because the zoom around the corner and my house is the first on the road, The Locals go fast and quit looking, so we go slowly, or have to beep our horns to keep from being hiot,(although one son was). I was reported, but they found nothing to write us up for, however, it IS a jungle here now. We have had an unusual amount of rain thelast two years.
