I’m thrilled to have a wonderful guest today: Cynthia Eden. She’s an amazing writer and an even better friend. She’s so much fun, she should be illegal in at least 39 states. Her books are always a good read and I think she likes Halloween almost as much as I do. ALMOST!
Thanks for coming by Cynthia. AND for sharing this wicked cool cover of your latest book with us.
CYNTHIA:
Haunting Time
Happy Halloween, everyone! Well, okay, *almost* Halloween. I am so counting down the days until we get to our spookiest night of the year. I love the thrills and chills that come with the approach of Halloween. Since I am a paranormal romance junkie, it seems like Halloween was made just for folks like me. Folks who enjoy a good scare. Folks who like to imagine there is more to this world than meets the eye.
Folks who like a bit of a monster in their men. 😉
When I write and read romances, I like to have heroes with supernatural powers. Guys who can howl at the moon or guys who get stronger when they have a nice bit of blood to drink. Sure, maybe these fellows are on the “darker” side with their dangerous and deadly selves, but to me, that’s just fun.
I always root for the supernatural heroes. I want them to save the day, get the girl, and still have time to howl at the moon. Hey, all in a day’s work, right? When I think of some of my favorite supernatural heroes, these guys spring to mind…
Mick St. Johnfrom Moonlight. (Why, oh, why was that show canceled?)
Dracula from…um, any Dracula movie. (Yes, I always root for Dracula.)
Michael from the Underworld movies. (Yay for vampire/werewolf hybrids!)
Hellboy from Hellboy (Because who says you can’t be a giant, red devil and be sexy? Huh, who?)
And, of course (always!) Spike from Buffy.
Who are your favorite supernatural heroes? Please share! One random commenter will win a Cynthia Eden book of his/her choice. Thanks for checking out my post! (And thanks so much to my lovely hostess for having me over.)

Oooh…I love the cover! I will have to read this when it comes out. My favorite supernatural hero? I love Van Helsing, or shall I say I love Hugh Jackman playing Van Helsing!
Have a great day.

love me some supernatural!! My love affair for the supernatural started in High School when I discovered twilight and has continued since. I do love jacob but edward will always hold a special place in my heart. I have no idea why Moonlight was canceled I loved that show Mick St. John is sizzling he definitely had the potential to over take edward if the show had stayed on. I love the buffy shows and watch them any time i get. i have even read them! I alway rute for dracula because he was my first vamp love 😉 My first werwolf love was derick form kelly armstrong but the best supernatural writer that make the best vampire, werewolves, and deamons is CYNTHIA EDEN my first and formost FAVORITE AND ANINSPIRING AUTHOR!

I have a few heroes that I love. Batman and Superman(especially the new one-Henry Cavil). I also love Bones from Jeaniene Frost’s Night Huntress Series, Cain from Bound in Darkness, and Edward from Twilight. There are many others but those are some of my favorites. Bound in Darkness is the first book I have read by Cynthia, but will not be my last. I would love to check out the other books of this series, and do see that she has some other books out.
Thanks for the giveaway and the chance to win.

Humm..my favorites supernatural heroes have to be:
1. Angel from Buffy, why because he is a vamp with a soul =)
2. Lucian from underworld
3. Louis from Interview with a vampire, what can I say its Brad Pitt!
and finally a non-hero that could have turned good maybe someday
Sylar from heroes, I know he was the bad guy but he was just misunderstood……

Hey Cynthia! Hey Jillian! 😀
I hope your both having a lovely day.
My favorite supernatural heroes would have to be: (sorry but your getting a list lol )
– Ric Van Holtz from BIG BAD BEAST by Shelly Laurenston because he just reminds me of his cousin, Van, and how he never gives up on winning Dee Ann Smith’s affection and love. Plus it’s funny when he goes OCD in the kitchen xD
– Sarah Dearly from Immortality Bites by Michelle Rowen because no matter what she always bounces back and is always trying to prove that she can be a vampire with a normal life and that she can have a relationship with Thierry. Plus it’s a really funny book 🙂
– Lucas Simone from Never Cry Wolf by Cynthia Eden because he is such a strong man and he is what I think is a real man, someone tough and strong and just hot! It was great to see how he and his brother where getting on after what happened with Maya and the born master and everything.
They are my top 3 favourite supernatural heroes and I do hope what I have written is okay.

Michelle Louise Pratley

You had me at “Michael”! I am also partial to Stuart Townsend as LeStat in Queen of the Damned, Brad Pitt as Louis in Interview With a Vampire, Gary Oldman in Bram Stoker’s Dracula. I haven’t really watched True Blood, or Vampire Diaries but I’ve watched pretty much every vampire or werewolf movie I can get my hands on.

First I have to say I LOVE Spike. Angel was way too angsty, but if supernatural extends to the wizarding world I have to put my vote in for my favorite Gingers The Weasleys. specifically Ron and Fred & George. Fun post and comments
