I know, I know, I’m late. I had a great idea at the beginning of the week for the fact of the week and then I promptly forgot it. Way to busy this week and super excited about tomorrow and can’t concentrate. I got up at 3:15 am today to get to the airport to come to NYC. I’m going to see Alan Rickman tomorrow and I can’t wait. We got to LaGuardia at 10:59 a.m. But didn’t get to the hotel (8 miles away) until almost 12:45 p.m. You see, 5th Avenue was blocked for the Veteran’s Day parade and there were only 2 places in the whole city to cross to get to our hotel. can you say traffic snarl?
It was hard to be upset because, after all, we live in a great country and we need to honor the folks who have kept us safe, right? Memo to self, though, if traveling into the city on a holiday, eat lunch at the airport first.
Only Friday Fact this week is that it’s a fact that I love our military Veterans. Happy symmetrical day- 11/11/11. Y’all know how I feel about that.

Was worried when I didn’t see this show up. I love the fact that you love Veterans. That one I knew and have long admired. Hope the trip has been wonderful.
