Friday Facts- March 2, 2012- Windsor, Canada

This Friday Fact will be short since I’m on a girls’ weekend retreat with three friends. One is from north of Atlanta, one is from Raleigh, North Carolina and one from Windsor, Canada.

The interesting two things I learned about Windsor are that it is south of Detroit. Isn’t that wild? The way the lake turns makes part of Canada be south of part of the U.S. I love that.

The other thing is that because it is south of Detroit, Essex County, which is the county where it is located, is the southernmost county in Canada. Cool beans!

Hope you’re having fun. I didn’t know that any of Canada extended South of the Border. Interesting fact.
