I have two releases in November. One is the second story in The Minute Series and the second is a Christmas story. Check out my two super-awesome covers and the blurbs:
Attorney Anna Kincaid doesn’t celebrate Christmas. It’s been a time of loss and sadness for her for too many years.
Matteo Sanchez, a criminal prosecutor, has been searching for the right woman for more years than he cares to recall.
In a local deli, Matteo, seated at the next table overhears a conversation Anna has with her friends that she wants a one night stand for Christmas. The next day, he introduces himself to her at the local bar association Christmas party. After an evening of passion, Anna discovers that Matteo knew about her wish before meeting her. Believing him to be a stalker and a cad, she throws him out of her house. Christmas may prove to be her enemy yet again.
Antoinette Blake traveled to London to visit her daughter and met her favorite actor, Adam Knowles. His latest movie is being released and he’s invited Antoinette to be his date on the red carpet. She’s nervous to be seen in public with him as she fears being humiliated by the press due to her age since in her mind she’s not the young, sexy woman he deserves.
Adam wants Antoinette by his side since he’s never had a supportive partner. She accompanies him to a boutique to choose her gown, and when the saleswoman treats her with disrespect, Antoinette knows she was right about not being good enough to be seen on Adam’s arm. She backs out of going to the premiere. Adam is hurt but Antoinette can’t see past her own potential embarrassment and be the woman Adam needs.
Woohoo! Congrats on the TWO releases. Wow, you’ve been busy! Well, that’s a normal thing for you, eh? Are these novellas? These covers are great. I especially love the one for The Second Minute. It’s not cookie cutter at all. It stands out. Well done!

Thanks Laurie. The Christmas story was written in like February. Got the idea last November when I overheard a conversation in a local deli. Lol. Was in the throes of NaNo so couldn’t write it then but jotted some notes. The second minute is right at 10,000 words. That series is a weekend read series and that means (at my publisher) under 10,000 words. I’m digging shorts as I can get moving on to other ideas faster.
I love love the work of this cover artist. Dawne Dominique.

I agree with Laurie on the covers. Exceptional. And, loved the blurbs. I need to take a page from your book and get to writing. I just started taking iron for a deficiency that the Dr. is watching, but it will take more than a few pills to keep up with you. 🙂

I hope you both feel better ,Jillian and Lavada…I’m already on record about the great Christmas bookcover…you never know when and where inspiration will hit, do you? Wonderful how you mind just picked up the ball and ran with it.
The second cover is attention-grabbing!And it fits the story perfectly. Congrats and great success!

I feel fine, T, I’ve been anemic so long, I’m used to it. Lol. And yeah, that conversation I heard was awesome. I told the two friends with me that I had dibs on that title since that was what I heard the woman say. Neither of them heard the comment since they were yakking at each other. Lol.
I love the second one, too. It really does go with the story.
