  1. This might be another candidate for the background of a cover.

    • It really is lovely, isn’t it? Son took it in Salem, I think.

  2. That is not Paris. Darn. I know that boat, either from an earlier pic here or something else. I’m partial to schooners because the first story I ever releases, Stolen Treasures, takes place on a schooner. Arggghhh. I can’t remember which ship this is. 🙂

    • I remember the schooner story. Loved those first two. I think there was a lawyer in one. *smiles*. I think this is near Salem since son went in October and shared some pics with me. It’s somewhere in New England. Could be a pilgrim ship. Mayflower? Or too small?

      • I think it’s the “Friendship of Salem” a replica of a merchant vessel from that late 1700’s. (I just HAD to go looking for it.) 🙂

      • Awesome. I was going to ask the kiddo when I got out of court. LOL thanks for saving me the text. LOL

  3. I love boats.I have been landlocked for far too long. This is a great picture and I agree that it would make a wonderful bookcover…for a mystery, perhaps or the story of a lonely person who finds love.

    • Thanks tonette. This one spoke to me as well.
