We leave every kind of flowering ‘weed’ in our yard. Waist-high mini daisies do not bother us if there are bees, butterflies and other polinators are coming.
I can rather understand, as dandelions can really take over. There is a war on thistles here; I’ve seen what they have done to hill after hill in Virginia.
I find them cheery, and they feed the bees.
That’s my story, and I’m sticking to it!

I was worried about the honeybees when we didn’t have dandelions in April. We have some now. Never was a weed more welcome.

yeah. We have them for the first time in my neighborhood this year. They popped up out of nowhere.
