      My son found it. My ancestor is very famous so it was pretty easy. Look up Sir Thomas Gresham when you get time.

        What an interesting story Sir Thomas has. it looks like he had some…unusual methods, but he managed to balance the King’s budget. And he was a smart financier, getting paid in land. It feels appropriate that your ancestor founded a college. Nice genes. 🙂

        Thanks for taking the time to look him up. We’re very proud of him. Interestingly, my revolutionary war ancestor was also a Thomas Gresham. And I love that the original founded a college and kept his head in a particularly blood thirsty era.

    hmmmm.Some people’s I get continually.I found yours and another persons while looking through “Manage Your Subscriptions”.Well, I will just have to make an effort to find you! Here I am getting Canadians, Romanians,Indians commenting and I wonder if the Americans are not getting mine?
