This week’s word is Rough. AND yeah, I’m still on the train story. I decided to move forward with it after all. See the other posts here.

“Look here, Rozzelle, that’s no way to behave with a lady present. Leave her be.” Win took a step forward as if to punch the other man.
Fiona pulled on Win’s arm. “Stop. Let him go by. He’s a waste of time.”
“Speaking of wastes of time, Barrington, I don’t know what you see in this little mouse when you have that nice, vibrant piece in your own compartment. How is the little wife anyway?” Rozzelle kept the smirk firmly in place as he taunted Win.
Win punched Rozzelle in the face. “Shut the hell up.”
Rozzelle shoved Win up against the wall of compartment and held him there by the upper arms. “Don’t you ever touch me again. You’ll more than regret it. You have two ladies on this train you seem to care about and if you make one more move against me, you’ll lose at least one of them if not both.” He shoved back on Win once more and then let go. He turned to Fiona and bowed. “Better keep your boyfriend in line, missy, if you don’t want to lose him.” He spun on his heel and headed toward the dining car.
Fiona, her hands shaking, turned to Win. “Are you all right? He was a bit rough, wasn’t he?”
“I’m fine.” Win pushed his hair off his face and glanced down at Fiona. “He’s messed up your hair. Let’s go back inside and fix it.”
“I can do that. You need to get to the dining car and check on Cordelia since that odious man is going that way. I’m worried about her.”
